The Barolo “Bricco Pernice” of Elvio Cogno is named after the rock on which partridges build their nests and is produced with Nebbiolo grapes coming from the historical “Ravera” cru of Novell. With a unique taste, it presents an intense ruby red color. Its bouquet is various and charming, elegant and complex, with violet and ripen red fruit notes in addition to spices and damp soil hints. The taste is harmonic and well structured, with important tannins: with a great persistence it’s perfect if drunk with important platters based on red meats, seasoned cheeses and game. Moreover, this Barolo wine owns a good capacity of aging.
