Description

The Barolo Ravera of Cogno is an elegant wine made with Nebbiolo grapes which are from the historic Novello cru: that is a one of the most renowned vineyards of Novello, characterized by a calcareous soil that instills sapidity, elegance and   “3 Bicchieri” of the Gambero Rosso guide and it has a ruby intense red color, with orange reflexes.

This wine has a various and elegant bouquet with floreal and fruity scents with dog rose, violet, spice, licorice, truffle and coffee notes. The taste is equilibrate, pleasant, persistent and really complex.

The Barolo Ravera is a great ageing wine, with the ability of improve and sharpen its characteristics in the course of time.

This wine is perfect if drunk with braised meat, civet hare, roasts and hard dough cheese like Castelmagno.
