- New
This is a wine of quality, produced by using the grapes deriving from vineyards collocated in Treiso and Barbaresco. The name of this wine derives from the tale written by Cesare Pavese, called “The house on the hill”. This wine presents a dark red colour with some orange reflexes, while its bouquet is a various and fruited one, with scents of mature red fruit, currants and jam, together with violet, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon ones. The taste is instead full and charming, but at the same time persistent: in fact, this Barbaresco wine accompanies perfectly platters based on red meat, as roasts and braised beef, game, excellent first courses and seasoned cheeses.
