The Barbera d’Alba DOC Bricco dei Merli of Elvio Cogno is wine with a ruby red color with violet reflexes; it has an elegant and harmonic aroma with undergrowth and spice notes. The taste has a great softness with marasca cherry jams and plum flavors. It is perfect if drunk with red meat courses, cured meats and medium aging cheeses.
