Description

This is a classic Barolo wine produced with Nebbiolo grapes deriving from vineyards collocated in Serralunga d’Alba (Ornato). The wine owns a ruby red colour, almost pomegranate-colored, while its smell reveals a complex and various bouquet with some floral scents of rose, violet, blueberries, mature red fruit, cherry, cloves and licorice. Furthermore, this Barolo wine owns body and elegance, besides a good structure and balance, in addition to important tannins that make it harsh. Thanks to these peculiarities, it is perfect in combination with red sauced meats, the typical ‘bagna cauda’, platters based on the famous Alba Truffle, seasoned cheeses, roasts and braised meat.
