Description

The Cornell line of the Colterenzio’s cave includes great wines, produced with grapes coming from the best vineyards, made with an intense care and passion, honed in barriques of high level. The Gewurtztraminer ATISIS, that takes the name from the eldest title of Adige stream, is produced by using grapes of good vineyards, which are situated in a wonderful place, in an altitude of 400-550 metres m.l.m. The sandy and pebbly soils of medium structure are enriched with the clayish deposits of the river and the fresh climate with strong temperature ranges between night and day realize a refined and elegant wine, endowed with a great structure, with high capacity of aging. The wine has a straw yellow colour, with a fresh, smart and floral perfume, but also a little spiced, with hints of dog rose, cinnamon, nutmeg and citrus fruits. It is also balanced, with a good structure and a great acidity: this wine is perfect if served as appetizer or in combination with grilled fish, shellfish, and cheeses.
