Menfi doc Chardonnay Planeta 2017

The Planeta Chardonnay arises from the will to cultivate a noble and spread vineyard like the Sicilian Chardonnay, in order to compare itself with the international oenological world. The wine is produced with Ulmo and Maroccoli’s vineyards, that are unique for their position and terroir; thanks to these characteristics it is possible to obtain this rich and elegant wine, which includes a great structure that gives it a good capacity of aging until 8-10 years. The wine has a golden yellow colour with some green reflexes, and it contains a fruited and intense bouquet, in addition to apricot’, peach’, yellow apples’, dry fruit’ and vanilla’s hints. The taste is a rich and fresh one, that can match perfectly with fish dinners, shellfish, fish soups and traditional Sicilian platters. After some years of sharpening it is possible to taste it together with cheeses.
