Description

Barolo Cerviano-Merli by Abbona is made with 100% Nebbiolo grapes, carefully selected and coming from South-exposed vineyards in Novello. It's a robust and charming with, produced only in the best years: in fact, 2016 vintage was made after 4 years of absence on the market. Through a 37-month ageing in Slavonia oak big barrels, it reveals an intense ruby red colour with bright garnet shades. The bouquet is various and intense, with hints of ripe fruits, jam, truffle and humus. The taste is rich, charming and persistent. We recommend Barolo Cerviano-Merli by Abbona with recipes made up of red meat, game and matured cheese. 2016 vintage has a great ageing potential.
