Description

The Barolo Mosconi by Pio Cesare is an exceptional red wine produced in very small quantities starting from the 2015 vintage. It is made with selected Nebbiolo grapes grown in the precious Mosconi cru of Monforte d'Alba. The vinification takes place in steel, while the refinement lasts about 30 months in large oak barrels with the exception of a small part which rests in barriques for the first 12 months. Wine with a long life, the Barolo Mosconi by Pio Cesare is perfect to drink in combination with roasted or braised red meats, game and aged cheeses.
