Description

The barolo Ornato by Pio Cesare is a classic Barolo wine produced with selected Nebbiolo grapes deriving from vineyards of the farmhouse Ornato in Serralunga d’Alba. The wine owns a ruby red colour, almost pomegranate-colored. Its smells reveals a complex and various bouquet with some floral scents of rose, violet, blueberries, mature red fruit, cherry, cloves and licorice. Furthermore, this Barolo wine owns body and elegance, besides a good structure and balance, in addition to important tannins that make it harsh. Thanks to these peculiarities, the Barolo Ornato by Pio Cesare is perfect in combination with red sauced meats, the typical ‘bagna cauda’, platters based on Alba Truffle, seasoned cheeses, roasts and braised meat.
