The Barolo Parussi by Azienda Agricola Bovio Gianfranco is produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the vineyards in the Cru Parussi in Castiglione Falletto. After vinification, the wine ages in oak barrels for 20 to 24 months; then it is decanted into concrete tanks where it rests for a few months before bottling. Wine with a classic style, very long-lived, in the glass it shows a ruby red color with reflections tending towards dark orange. The nose is striking for its broad and concentrated bouquet, on which notes of ripe fruit, jam and spices stand out. On the palate it is full-bodied and it has a great structure, with an elegant and well-integrated tannic texture. It is an elegant wine, with a long and persistent finish: for these reasons the Barolo Parussi by Bovio Gianfranco is perfect to drink in combination with roasted or braised red meats, game and aged cheeses.
