Description

The Barolo Ravera by Paolo Scavino is a wine of great value that is produced with Nebbiolo grapes grown in three plots recently bought in the prestigious Cru Ravera in the Novello municipality. Endowed with a beautiful bright garnet color, in the nose it is striking for its broad and composite bouquet, characterized by notes of violets, blackberries and black cherries in alcohol well harmonized with mint, licorice and undergrowth hints. Wine with a good structure supported by important tannins, in the mouth it is full and sapid, with a good acidity and a long and persistent finish. Long-lived wine that gives its best after a few years of aging in bottle, the Barolo Ravera by Paolo Scavino is perfect to drink in combination with red meats, game and aged cheeses.

This cave was founded by Lorenzo Scavino and his son Paolo in 1921 in Castiglione Falletto. The winery counts about 23 hectares of vineyards, that allow the cave to sell 120000 bottles every year.
