Description

“Satèn” title has been introduced in 1990 in Franciacorta, in order to remember softness of silk, and the “satinato” colour, due to a minor quantity of sugar added in the liqueur de tirage. This wine is produced with the best grapes coming from historical vineyards belonged to the cave; it shows a wonderful straw yellow colour with golden reflexes. The bouquet is refined and intense, with hints of white flowers and mature white fruit, in addition to light memories of honey and vanilla. Moreover, it owns a full and complex taste; it is endowed with pleasant freshness and persistence and for this reason it is perfect if drunk as appetizer or in combination with high level cuisine, some fishes. Eventually, it is a perfect wine of conversation.
