The Barolo del Comune di Verduno by Fratelli Alessandria winery is an excellent red wine obtained with carefully selected Nebbiolo grapes coming from 5 different vineyards on the hills of Verduno. With a very intense ruby red color with garnet reflexes, at nese it decelops an elegant and composite bouquet, with fruity hints of plums, cherries, berries, on a slightly spicy background. The taste is warm, intense and enveloping, with important tannins and a great structure. The Barolo del Comune di Verduno by Fratelli Alessandria is perfect if drunk in combination with roast or stewed red meats, game and aged cheeses.
