Description

Sauvignon Riserva by Russiz Superiore is one of the most significant and intense expressions of the winery production. 5% of the grapes is harvested during the late ripening phase; one third of the must is aged in oak barrels and the rest in steel tanks. The slow refinement on its lees lasts over 3 years, besides an additional year in bottle. In the glass it is straw yellow with bright golden shades. The bouquet is intense and wide, with hints of yellow fruits, aromatic herbs, tomato leaf, mineral notes. The sip is soft, intense and enveloping, with a pleasant mineral sensation giving freshness and persistence. We recommend Sauvignon Riserva by Russiz Superiore with vegetarian first courses, fish soups, blue cheese.
