Barbaresco by Marziano Abbona is a balanced and pleasant red wine, made with selected Nebbiolo grapes harvested in the North-Eastern part of Alba city. Barbaresco strikes you with a bright dark red colour, with ruby red shades. The nose is intense and complex, and reveals scents of ripe berries, strawberries, violet, spices and tobacco; the sip is rich, but soft and velvety, with delicate tannins giifting the wine a great texture. Thanks to these characteristics, we recommend Barbaresco by Abbona with first courses, matured cheese typical of Langhe and Roero territory, roasts and braised beef. Eventually, it has a great ageing potential.
