Troy Chardonnay by Tramin winery is a white wine characterized by an elegant acidity and a juicy freshness. It is produced exclusively with grapes harvested by hand with great caution, controlling every single grape.
The name Troy, which in the ancient local language means "path", was chosen to recall the long growth path made by the Tramin winery.
After aging on the lees in barrique for eleven months, the wine is put in steel containers for an additional refinement on the lees for 22 months.
Troy Chardonnay unveals an intense golden color. The nose develops intense and complex aromas, a floral bouquet with hints of almond and nutmeg. The taste is intense, fresh, elegant and mineral, with a long, persistent and juicy after-taste. Troy Chardonnay by Tramin winery is perfect with fish courses such as grilled shrimps, marinated salmon or scallops, or with tasty first courses such as noodles with truffles.
