Description

This is an aristocratic wine, the result of a selection of grapes produced in Castelgiocondo estate, where altitude, soil and solar exposure create the ideal conditions for this ancient vineyard. This wine presents an intense ruby red colour with some purple nuances; the bouquet offers a precious and intense perception with hints of cherry, red fruits jams, blackberry, dog rose, violet, black pepper, cinnamon and licorice. In the mouth it is warm and dry, but at the same time soft and elegant with rich structure and persistence. This wine can be either drunk alone, or matched with beef, red meat with gravy sauces, game, and seasoned cheeses.
