The Gi di Elio Perrone is a very aromatic and fragrant white wine, produced with a blend of Chardonnay and Moscato grapes grown in the area of Castiglione Tinella. The term "Gi" refers to the dormouse in the dialect of Piedmont: this name was chosen because it is a wine that gives its best after a little rest in the cellar. It shows a beautiful straw yellow color with golden reflections; the nose is elegant, rich and typically aromatic, with hints of exotic fruit, sage and honey. The palate is fresh, very sapid, soft, rich and characterized by an excellent persistence. The Gi by Elio Perrone is perfect to drink in combination with appetizers or pasta based on fish such as fish tartare.
