Tenuta Garetto is a winery acquired of Gianni Gagliardo in the summer of 2017; it is located in Agliano Terme district, in the heart of the production area of the Barbera d'Asti and can count on old vineyards planted between 1935 and 1950, as well as more recent plants. The Barbera d'Asti Superiore of Tenuta Garetto shows a beautiful intense ruby red color while in the nose it develops a broad and fruity bouquet, with hints of ripe red fruit, jam and a shents of vanilla. The mouthfeel is of medium complexity, full-bodied, balanced, with a good structure and characterized by a slight tannic note on the finish. The Barbera d'Asti Superiore of Tenuta Garetto is a wine that is perfect to drink with main courses of meat, tagliatelle with mushrooms or typical cold cuts of Piedmont.
