Tenuta Garetto is a winery acquired by Gianni Gagliardo in the summer of 2017; it is located in Agliano Terme in the heart of the production area of Barbera d'Asti and it can count on old vineyards planted between 1935 and 1950, as well as more recent plants. Produced with Barbera grapes from the oldest vineyards of Tenuta Garetto, the Nizza Favà shows a beautiful intense ruby red color, while in the nose it reserves pleasant fruity aromas with hints of blueberries, berries, plums and bread crust. The mouthfeel is intense, balanced, pleasantly acidic, persistent and captivating. The Nizza Favà of Tenuta Garretto is perfect to drink in combination with main meat courses, such as duck cooked in the oven or in a pan, or to accompany spicy cheeses.
