Description

The Barolo del Comune di La Morra of Gianni Gagliardo winery is a pleasant and elegant red wine, which is the result of a selection of Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards surrounding the winery in the hamlet of Serra dei Turchi, in the small village of Santa Maria di La Morra. This Barolo shows a beautiful ruby red color with garnet nuances, while in the nose it develops a spicy and floral bouquet with hints of violet. Wine ready to drink since the early years of aging, its taste is intense, balanced, complex and pleasantly tannic on the finish. The Barolo del Comune di La Morra of Gianni Gagliardo is perfect to drink in combination with tasty main courses such as braised and roasted meats,  or with ripe cheeses.

The history of the winery Poderi Gianni Gagliardo derives in the distant 800, in the district of Santo Stefano Belbo with the Colla Family.
