Description

The Barolo by Marziano Abbona is a great red wine and is the diamond point of the winery. Made with grapes coming from the “Perno Vineyard” in Monforte d’Alba, it has a great intense ruby red color with slight garnet-red nuances. At nose it gets off floral scents of dog rose and violet in addition to a wet soil scents. In mouth, it is wide and intense, with good persistence and tannins well integrated into the wine structure. The Abbona Barolo is excellent if drunk in combination with the classic “brasato al Barolo”, game, cured meats and seasoned cheeses.
