Idda, which in Sicilian dialect means "Lei", is the way in which the Etna is called by the local population and is the name chosen for the company born from the collaboration between Angelo Gaja and Alberto Graci Aiello, a highly esteemed Sicilian winemaker. The company is based in Castiglione di Sicilia and has 20 hectares of vineyards located between 600 and 800 meters above sea level, all cultivated in Carricante and Nerello Mascalese vines. The Sicilia DOP IDDA is an extraordinary white wine, elegant and with a strong minerality, that introduces of a beautiful intense yellow color to the eye and develops a wide and composite bouquet in the nose, with floral scents of white flowers and broom, hints of almond and a slight herbaceous note. In the mouth it is intense, fresh, pleasantly sapid, well balanced and characterized by a long and persistent finish. The Sicilia dop IDDA is perfect to drink chilled as an aperitif or in combination with pasta or appetizers based on fish.
