The Chianti Classico Riserva of Castello della Paneretta is a very representative wine of the Chianti Classico territory, mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes and a small part of Canaiolo. The use of these two wines is an expression of the company’s philosophy, which has chosen not to use international vines but exclusively native vines. After 5 days of maceration in stainless steel and 24 months of aging in large wooden barrels, in the glass it shows an intense purple red color, tending to garnet. In the nose it expresses composite aromas with notes of tobacco leaf, wood and black berry fruits. The taste is full bodied, round and well balanced, with a fruity aftertaste. The Chianti Classico Riserva of Castello della Paneretta is perfect to drink in combination with red meats and mature cheeses, or with courses based on porcini mushrooms.
