The Ecrù of Firriato is a passito wine made with Zibibbo grapes, using the traditional method of infusion of raisins in the wine. The theatre of this uniqueness is the garden of the withering of Borgo Guarini, where the bunches naturally wither for almost 40 days. A wine with a unique and very concentrated taste, the Ecrù of Firriato shows a golden yellow color with amber nuances. In the nose it develops complex and intense aromas, with notes of dried figs, peach in syrup, honey and candied orange peel. Wine with an excellent persistence, deep and balanced, in the mouth it is warm and enveloping and it confirms the fruity and spicy aromas. Excellent also if drunk alone, it has the right features to be appreciated in combination with freshly baked pastries, blue cheeses or foie gras.
