This complex and elegant Barbera d’Asti wine takes the name from a story of the writer Cesare Pavese and it is produced with grapes deriving from six different vineyards. The colour of it is a ruby red one, while its smell emanates intense and harmonious perfumes, a little bit fragrant and fruited, too, with some scents of mature red fruit, blackberries, liquorice and vanilla. This wine owns body and structure, and the taste is persistent, soft and full. This type of Barbera wine combines perfectly with cannelloni, lasagne, pork meat, salami, game and medium seasoned cheeses.
