The Barbaresco DOCG Mondino of Piero Busso is made with Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Balluri district, in Neive, on the homonymous Mondino hills. It is a fruity and well balanced red wine, which ferments on indigenous yeasts in steel and is aged for at least 18 months in a large cask and 6 months in bottle. With a beautiful intense ruby red color, the Barbaresco Mondino of Piero Busso is a full-bodied and opulent wine, rich in delicate tannins, pleasantly evolved and silky. The nose is very concentrated and varied, with the classic floral and red fruits notes in the foreground. The taste is rich, intense and dense with a long softness. It is perfect to drink with preparations based on the precious Alba White Truffle, such as egg cocotte with truffle, tjarin with butter with truffle flakes or beef tartare with white truffle.
