The Barbera d'Alba Majano of Piero Busso is an excellent red wine, fruity and vinous produced with hand-picked grapes, coming from old vineyards in a south-western position outside the town of Neive. The fermentation at controlled temperature takes place in steel tanks, followed by an aging of 12 months in wooden barrels and 6 months in bottle. It has a beautiful intense ruby red color; in the nose it is harmonious and balanced and it reveals fruity aromas, delicate spices with scents of undergrowth. Equipped with a good structure, in the mouth it is full, elegant and of good persistence. The Barbera d'Alba Majano of Piero Busso is perfect to drink with cold cuts and cheeses, “bucatini lardiati” and pork chops with sauce.
