This Nebbiolo wine is grown from Nebbiolo grapes coming from Canale territory, in the heart of Roero. The wine takes its Monpissano name from a characteristic tower, used years and years ago as a sighting place. This wine presents a brilliant ruby red colour with yellow-crowned nuances, while it reveals a complex but elegant bouquet, with floral and fruited aroma, that remember currants, blackberries, violet, licorice and spices. If you taste it, you can perceive its freshness, together with its warmness; moreover, it is endowed with a good body and persistence, and for this reason it combines perfectly with roasts and seasoned cheeses.
