The ‘San Michele’ Roero Arneis is so called because it is produced with the grapes of the eldest Arneis vineyard of the cave, situated near the same cave and since 1975 belongs to Deltetto family. The name hails from an old tradition to build a church on each hill: in this manner people believed that the Saint of the Church protect the harvesting from the weather. The ‘San Michele’ Roero Arneis is a white wine and it has a straw yellow colour, with a smell of exotic fruits, apple and vanilla. Its structure and elegance make it perfect even for the aging.
