The Chardonnay Troy of the Tramin winery is a white wine characterized by a fine acidity and a juicy freshness. It is produced exclusively with grapes harvested by hand and with great caution, controlling every single grape.
The name Troy, which in the ancient local language means "path", was chosen to recall the long growth path made by the Tramin winery.
After aging on the lees in barrique for eleven months, the wine is put in steel containers for an additional refinement on the lees for 22 months.
The Chardonnay Troy shows an intense golden color. The nose develops intense and composite aromas, as well as a floral bouquet with hints of almond and nutmeg. The taste is intense, fresh, elegant and mineral, characterized by a long, persistent and juicy final. The Chardonnay Troy the Tramin winery is perfect to drink with main fish courses such as grilled shrimp, marinated salmon or scallops, or in combination with tasty first courses such as noodles with truffles.
