The grapes used for the production of Maso Montalto of Tenuta Lunelli are grown in one of the family’s historic vineyards located over 400 meters above sea level. The Pinot Noir of Tenuta Lunelli, after 12 months of aging in oak barrique and others 15 months in bottle, expresses all the elegance of Pinot Noir cultivated at high altitudes. The wine has a beautiful ruby red color, while the nose is complex and persuasive. Very fragrant and fruity wine, it develops notes of blueberry, blackberry, black cherry and cherry. In the mouth it expresses multiple fruity notes in addition to light spicy hints. Pleasantly tannic and persistent, the Maso Montalto is perfect to drink with typical dishes of Trentino Alto Adige, such as venison fillet with juniper.
