Luce represents the first wine produced in Montalcino territory, and it derives from a join between Sangiovese and Merlot grapes. The result is a kind of innovative wine that joins to the structure and elegance, typical of Sangiovese grapes, the softness typical of Merlot ones. This wine shows an intense, wonderful ruby red colour, while its bouquet is various and complex: it includes cherry, red fruit’s jam, blueberry, green pepper, nutmeg, mint and almond. Harmonic, and endowed with softness, it is excellent if drunk together with roasted meats, game and seasoned cheeses.
