Barbera d’Asti wine with a great personality: it takes its name from the “Pianoalto” farmstead, which belongs to Bava family. On the label there is a symbol that characterizes this family and it was attached to the barn. It presents a ruby red colour with yellow-crowned nuances, while the smell reveals perfumes of mature red fruit, blackberries, plums, black cherries, besides light and good aroma of tobacco, menthol and vanilla. The taste of it is concentred and powerful, with a strong persistence, but at the same time well-structured, with freshness, too. It accompanies perfectly flavourful first courses, second platters based on meat typical of Piedmont and seasoned cheeses.
