The Luigi Spertino Barbera d'Asti is made by spontaneously fermented Barbera grapes. Thanks to the maturation of eighteen months in Slavonian oak barrels and the refinement of four months in bottle, it shows itself with a beautiful intense ruby red colour, to produce fragrances of wild berries with hints of cocoa and licorice later. On the palate, it is balanced and full with a persistent final. It is excellent to drink in combination with soups, game and aged cheeses.
