The Franciacorta Brut “Prima Cuvèe” of Monterossa is one of the best sparkling wine of the winery: it’s made with the first pressing of Chardonnay grapes mixed later with Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco grapes.
It has an intense straw yellow color and a fine and delicate perlage.
At nose, it gets off tropical fruits scents in addition to strong mineral notes and hints of dry pastry.
In mouth, it is soft and fresh with a well-balanced acidity and a good persistence in the final.
For these characteristics, it is perfect if drunk in combination withfish dishes like a seafood’s risotto, shrimp tartare, raw or grilled fish and fresh cheeses.
