Description

The Barolo of Borgogno is an elegant red wine produced with Nebbiolo grapes that shows a great  and intense ruby red color, with orane reflexes. The perfume is intense and composite, with a floral and fruited bouquet, with violet and mixed berries scents, pepper and tobacco notes. The taste is equilibrate and balanced, with a great structure endowed with an excellent persistence. For these reasons , it’s perfect if drunk with stuffed pasta, red meat second courses and seasoned cheeses. It’an excellent wine for meditation.


Borgogno

The cave was founded by Bartolomeo Borgogno in 1761: the history of this cave and of its wines is strictly connected with 1861, year of Italy’s Unity, in fact for the celebratory lunch was used the Borgogno’s Barolo.
