Description

The Barolo Leon Riserva of Rivetto winery is a prestigious Piedmontese red wine.

It has the name “Reserve” because it ages more than 5 years in excellent oak barrels.

On view it shows an intense ruby red color, while at nose it gets off wide scents of red fruits and plum.

Its taste is full-bodied and rich, with pleasant spicy notes and well-balanced tannins.

With a good aging potential, it is perfect if drunk in combination with truffle dishes, red meats, lamb, game and herbaceous cheeses.


Rivetto

The Rivetto winery was born in 1902 in Montaldo Scarampi near to the city of Asti; initially it was a small shop of grapes and wines exchange.
