Description

This type of wine is known as “l’enfant terrible” in wine’s world: it is an aristocratic and original wine variety, which manages to give birth to extraordinary wines in Burgundy. The Bourgogne wine produced by Francois Mikulski derives from two old vineyards, Lombois and Durots, that give it a great concentration. This wine presents a quite light ruby red colour, with some purple nuances, while it includes a rich and elegant bouquet, together with scents of currants, blackberry and violet. Extremely elegant, soft and refined, this wine gives excellent results in combination with roasted red meats, game, fresh cheeses and medium seasoned cheeses. Moreover, it has a great capacity of aging, but the wine-makers suggest you to drink it at once, in order to taste in a better way its character.
