Description

The Brunello di Montalcino “Rennina” of the Tuscany winery Pieve Santa Restituta owned by Gaja, takes its name from the ancient Roman name of the estate which literally means “state farm”.

On view, it shows an intense ruby red color with garnet nuances; the smell is wide and fruity with a scent of blackberries, dried plumps in addition to a background of cocoa and coffee notes.

In mouth, it is warm and velvety with soft tannins that make this wine elegant and enjoyable.

With a great potential of aging, it is perfect in combination with roast meats, game and seasoned cheese.
