Description

The 2013 is the first vintage starting form wich the Sorì San lorenzo changes is name from Nebbiolo doc to Barbaresco. This fantastic wine, 100 % Nebbiolo, takes the name from the homonymous vineyards, called “San Lorenzo”, situated in Barbaresco. This wine owns a great ruby red colour, while its bouquet is fruited and it includes scents of blackberry, mixed berries, blueberry and currant, besides those of red fruits, coffee, licorice, spices and dry fruit. The taste is warm and soft, with important but light tannins that make of it a noble and persistent wine. So, this wine is perfect in combination with grilled red meats, game, platters based on the famous Alba white Truffle and seasoned cheeses. Moreover, it owns a great capacity of aging.
