Description

The Vinnae wine owns a perfect straw yellow colour, and it is produced with yellow Ribolla, Friulan Tocai and Riesling Renano. Since may 1984 the Jermann family has begun to call the yellow Ribolla Vinnae, in order to remember the birth of the second-born Michele and his 100 years of work and devotion to the vineyard. The name Vinnae derives from ‘Vinnaioli’, so Vinnae. Since 2004 an eagle is present on the labels’ wine: the Jermann wine-makers have decided to represent this bird because they have found it on a barrel of the great-grandfather and it is the symbol of the Austro-Hungarian origins of Jermann family. The wine presents a floral and fragrant bouquet, with some minerals hints, while its taste is without any doubts fresh. This wine is pleasant if served as appetizer or if it accompanies cold fish starters, velvet creams and fish second courses.
