Puligny, together with Chassagne Montrachet, can be proud of the production of one of the best white wine of the world: The Montrachet. According to Alessandro Dumas and an old legend “people had to drink on bended knee and with uncovered head”, and God did not rest before having create Le Montrachet. This is an excellent Chardonnay, made with traditional procedures and it presents as a complex bouquet of floral and fruited aroma, in addition to a hint of spices. It is perfect if fresh drunk in combination with refined shellfish and fish platters, seasoned French cheeses.
