Description

This wine has an own personality, and it takes the name from the Cru situated in the district of Castellinaldo, also called “Rocca delle Marasche”. The term “marasca” indicates a particular kind of cherry that once upon a time people planted in the vineyards of the Roero area. This wine is obtained thanks to a special procedure, according to which only the best grapes must ripen; this Barbera shows an intense ruby red colour with yellow-crowned nuances and great perfumes of dog rose, cherry, raspberry, vanilla and green pepper. Rocca delle Marasche is a wine that includes a perfect structure and softness, and it accompanies flavorful first platters and second courses based on meat.
