The “San Luigi” Dolcetto is produced with grapes coming from the old San Luigi vineyard, in an area where the soil is above all clayish: the wine is made following traditional procedures and it presents an intense ruby red colour with yellow-crowned nuances. The smell of this wine is fruited and fragrant, in addition to mature cherry’, blackberry’, current’ and floral’s hints. The taste of it is soft and balanced, but at the same time dry: for these characteristics it is ideal if accompanied with rich first courses, fried fish. Mixed boiled meat of Piedmont and roasts.
