Description

Pigato doc Lupi is the result of a great work started in the Sixties by Tommaso Lupi and some other neighbouring winemakers. In fact, they started spreading Pigato through the pure vinification and selling, giving life to the doc Riviera Ligure di Ponente appellation. This wine is made with 100% Pigato grapes grown near Albenga. In the glass, it is bright straw yellow. The nose is fruity and fresh with notes of peach and mediterranean herbs. The sip is soft, intense, sapid and persistent. Pigato doc Lupi is recommended with seafood and fish starters, raw shellfish and light vegetarian recipes.
