Description

The Climat Nuts Chardonnay from Vie di Romans represents oenological excellence in the panorama of white wines from Friuli Venezia Giulia. Produced with Chardonnay grapes from the Nuts vineyard within the cru Vie di Romans, this wine is an authentic expression of the specific terroir and the generally warmer microclimatic conditions. It matures for 9 months in oak barrels and 9 months in steel on its lees, followed by an additional 31 months in bottle before being released. Characterized by a beautiful intense straw yellow color with golden reflections, on the nose the Climat Nuts Chardonnay seduces with a complex and enveloping bouquet, featuring intense notes of ripe exotic fruits like mango and pineapple, alongside floral hints of white flowers and delicate nuances of sweet spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with a perfect balance between freshness and smoothness. The flavor is rich and persistent, with a pleasant minerality and a long finish that leaves an unforgettable impression. The Climat Nuts Chardonnay from Vie di Romans is ideal to enjoy with refined fish dishes, shellfish, risottos, and white meats. It also pairs excellently with vegetable-based appetizers and elaborate vegetarian dishes. A complex and elegant wine, it is a true oenological masterpiece that will amaze you with every sip.
