Description

The Climat Glesie Chardonnay from Vie di Romans is an exceptional white wine, an authentic expression of the excellence and winemaking mastery of this renowned Friuli Venezia Giulia winery. This Chardonnay comes from carefully selected grapes from the Glesie vineyard, within the Cru Vie di Romans, characterized by a unique terroir and a warmer, drier microclimate. After a long aging process of 9 months in barriques, 9 months in steel, and 31 months in the bottle, it presents in the glass with a beautiful bright straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose, the Climat Glesie Chardonnay stands out for its intense and enveloping bouquet, characterized by notes of ripe tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango, alongside nuances of citrus, white flowers, and light sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-structured, with a perfect balance between acidity and softness. The flavor is rich and persistent, with a pleasant minerality and a long finish. The Climat Glesie Chardonnay from Vie di Romans pairs perfectly with fish dishes, shellfish, vegetable-based appetizers, and risottos.
