Description

The Chardonnay grapes used for the Climat Cortesar Chardonnay are cultivated with great care and dedication in the namesake vineyard within the Cru Ciampagnis, where the unique terroir contributes to creating a wine of great refinement. After a long aging process of 9 months in barrique, followed by 9 months in steel and 31 months in bottle, in the glassi t shows a beautiful intense straw yellow color, with golden hues. The aromatic bouquet is broad and inviting, with predominant notes of ripe tropical fruits such as mango and pineapple, complemented by hints of fresh citrus and a subtle buttery note. On the palate, it is full-bodied and enveloping, with a complex structure and good acidity that provide freshness and balance. The Climat Cortesar Chardonnay by Vie di Romans pairs magnificently with elaborate fish dishes, shellfish, rich pasta dishes, and white meats. With excellent aging potential, it represents an outstanding choice for lovers of high-quality white wines.
